Who operates this site

What the platform does

We receive donations and apply them to verified church construction and education projects in Africa, releasing funds in stages against verified milestones. We are the recipient of your gift and are responsible for applying it in line with our donation policy. We are not a broker between you and any individual, and donations are gifts — they do not purchase goods, services or any interest in a project.

Donations

• Donations are processed by our payment provider, Paystack, in the currencies and channels shown at checkout. Amounts displayed in other currencies before checkout are estimates.
• Designated gifts are restricted funds and are honoured as described in the donation policy, including what happens when a project is overfunded or cannot proceed.
• Refunds are handled under the refund policy.
• We make no representation that donations are tax-deductible in any country. Please take your own advice from a qualified tax professional.

Accounts

You do not need an account to give. If you create one, keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly about any unauthorised use. We may suspend or close accounts used in breach of these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the site for fraud, money laundering or any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to disrupt, probe or overload the service;
• misrepresent yourself as another person or organisation;
• scrape or republish content, including project photographs, without permission.

Content and intellectual property

The site’s text, design and imagery belong to us or our partner churches and schools and are used with consent. Project photographs involving children are published only under our safeguarding commitments. You may share links to project pages; please do not re-use images out of context.

Project information

We verify projects before publishing them and keep progress information current in good faith, but construction and education work in the real world changes: costs shift, timelines slip, milestones get re-scoped. Where that happens we say so on the project page rather than papering over it.

Liability

We provide the site with reasonable skill and care but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
