The Build programme
Across Africa, congregations gather faithfully in structures that cannot hold them — or with no structure at all. The Build programme partners with verified churches to construct sanctuaries that double as classrooms, meeting halls and safe spaces for the whole community.
A church building is rarely just a church. In many communities it is the venue for nursery classes on weekdays, adult literacy in the evenings and health outreach on weekends. When a congregation gains a roof, a whole community gains a meeting place — which is why every Build project is planned with the community, not just for it.
Congregations meeting under trees or in rented rooms gain a permanent, dignified home for worship, weddings, funerals and fellowship.
Outside service hours, church buildings host classes, clinics, savings groups and meetings — often the only public hall a community has.
Money is released in stages as each milestone is verified — never as one lump sum. Photos and receipts document every stage.
Congregations contribute land, labour and materials. Your gift completes what a community has already started — it never replaces local ownership.
New construction projects are published once verification is complete. You can still give to the Build programme and we will allocate your gift to the next verified project.
Give to the Build programmeGive once or monthly to the Build programme. Your gift funds the next verified milestone — and you will see the photos and receipts that prove it.
